Introduction

The ECFM-CLEH model uses CFD look-up tables containing auto-ignition data and equilibrium data. This chemistry data is retrieved from the CFD look-up tables databases during the CFD simulation. An automotive OEM showed interest in evaluating the ECFM-CLEH model in Star-CD, using chemistry data based on proprietary fuel characteristics.

Dacolt has delivered custom ECFM-CLEH equilibrium look-up tables for this proprietary fuel.

These CFD look-up tables have been tested in-house.
