History

Dacolt was co-founded by Dr. ir. Ferry Tap. Dr. Tap obtained his MSc from Delft University of Technology in 2000 (gas turbine combustion) and his PhD from Ecole Centrale Paris in 2004 (Diesel engine combustion).

Company focus

Dacolt is investing in three strategic axes in Combustion & CFD:

• Tabkin^®: web-based software for generating CFD look-up tables
• Software development: custom combustion software development and combustion model integration in CFD software
• CFD consultancy: high-quality CFD analysis of combustion applications

Dacolt has joined the 'Enhanced Solution Partner' Program of ANSYS, Inc. to investigate the latest technologies for reactive flow CFD simulations.

CIR

Dacolt is an CIR-approved R&D organisation by the French state. With this approval, French customers of Dacolt can benefit from the 'Crédit Impôt Recherche (CIR)', a tax advantage for R&D work.
